The Vermont Academy Alumni Association (VAAA), comprised of every matriculated student who’s class has graduated, numbers over 4,000 members spanning 9 decades. Each member is a valued part of the alumni community and together, we are VA.
The purpose of the VAAA is to strengthen and support Vermont Academy through the cultivation of an engaged, informed, and inspired alumni community.
In pursuit of this purpose, the VAAA:
Brings alumni together to advance the interests and welfare of the school;
Fosters strong bonds among alumni and between alumni and Vermont Academy;
Promotes alumni involvement in the life of the school including alumni programs and activities, annual giving, and general support of VA; and
Communicates regularly with members and share positive Academy news.
There are so many ways to get involved with your alma mater. Whether you attend events, volunteer, support alumni-owned businesses, shop at the school store, dive into VA news, or want to nominate a peer for special recognition, there’s so much to explore.
There are two social media groups that focus specifically on Vermont Academy alumni. Join The Vermont Academy Network on LinkedIn to share job postings, connect with alumni peers in your field, reach out to alumni in fields of interest, and so much more!
Did you recently move, change phone numbers, update your email address, start a new job, welcome a new family addition, begin a new graduate school program, get married, or undertake any number of additional life changes?

Lindsey loves being able to work amidst the gorgeous scenery of Vermont. She grew up in Exeter, NH, where she enjoyed being close to the New Hampshire coast. Throughout her time at Exeter High School, Lindsey pursued her passions for video and storytelling by participating in programs such as a youth filmmakers workshop and a week-long leadership intensive in NYC focused on digital media, film, and journalism.
Before coming to Vermont Academy, Lindsey studied Media & Film in the heart of Boston at Suffolk University. She interned at the production company Boston Digital Productions in the summer of 2021 where she strengthened her skills in social media, video editing, and writing.
While she was grateful to be able to experience life in the city, she is glad to have returned to the countryside of New England after earning her BA in May 2022. At Vermont Academy, she enjoys posting about student life on social media, creating written content for the school, taking photos around campus, and coaching Vermont Academy's Dance Team. In her free time, Lindsey enjoys watching movies, reading, tap dancing, baking, and traveling. She lives in Keene, NH with her partner Caleb.
Marley grew up in both Rhode Island and Vermont, spending her elementary years in Mount Holly, VT, near Okemo mountain. In middle school, she returned to Rhode Island and attended The Pennfield School in Portsmouth and Rogers High School in the heart of Newport. With a lifelong passion for writing, publishing, and fashion, she headed to Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY, majoring in Communication. There, she stood as the Fashion Director at Marist’s entirely student-produced fashion magazine, Measure Magazine. After graduating, she held a freelance position at Town and Country Magazine in New York City.
After a break from city life and the country lifestyle beckoning again, Marley finds herself returning to her mountain roots, enjoying the nostalgia and magic that comes with living in the Green Mountain State. A lover of school, she always felt a pull in the direction of education, and is finally immersing herself in a fantastic independent school in New England. The newest addition to the Marketing and Communications team, she looks forward to helping showcase the community of vibrant and adventurous Wildcats at Vermont Academy.
In her free time, Marley enjoys spending time with her parents and their black lab, Pepper, painting, traveling, reading, thrifting, snowboarding, jumping in the ocean when she can, and having Socratic seminars with her friends over Taylor Swift lyrics. She lives on campus in Thompson House.
